A deck of playing cards sometimes won’t last that long in the hand of a
magician especially if he is constantly performing on the streets, more so if he is a Card Manipulator! Since I started in Magic, I don’t have any idea how many decks I’ve bought. A single deck of cards won’t last a month or so with me since I got very sweaty hands and I practice with it a lot at even if I’m just strolling around town or in our neighborhood.
In our house, there’s a deck of cards almost anywhere. Not to mention that my room, is flooded with different kinds of playing cards. I am fond of making things out of nothing so I thought of ways how to make those old playing cards useful the non-magical way. Here they are:
1. I made the cover of my binder/notebook look like scattered playing cards. I cut out some parts of a playing card and pasted them on the cover. Afterwhich, I sealed it tightly with a plastic cover. Thus, my notebook looks like scattered pieces of cards.
2. Make it a wallpaper.
3. Turn it into a book holder by gluing lots of cards together and making a base for support.
4. Make a picture frame out of it.
5. You can cut out shapes using the back portion of the playing cards and put it into your scrapbook.
Just put your imagination into works… There are so many possibilities…
Well here’s another idea from how2dostuff.blogspot.com. Here.

Thanks for the ideas Nate Marx!!!
Nice ideas, certainly will try one of those!
